Sidney has more than her share of teenage angst to cope with. Her mom was murdered a year ago, her dad is perpetually away on business, and her boyfriend Billy is pressuring her to go all the way. As if that weren’t enough, a brilliant serial killer has begun to terrorize Sidney’s quiet hometown, including her highschool classmate Casey Becker. With the calculated genius of a perfect predator, the killer is using his love of scary movies to turn the town upside down – taking everything he knows about the genre to trick his victims, outwit the police and throw his pursuers off base. Now, no one is safe – and everyone is a suspect.

The hip, darkly comical sequel to self-aware “SCREAM.” Sidney Prescott, now in college, once again finds herself the target of a bloodthirsty, cloak-clad, mask-wearing, knife-wielding, psychotic killer whose penchant for pop movie trivia runs deep. This time, however, the body count is higher and the deaths more outrageous–traits of a true sequel, as noted by one unfortunate victim. Not as pithy as the first film, but still a satisfying, definite true-to-form teen slasher.

Wes Craven’s final installment of his highly successful SCREAM trilogy concludes with a fun, fast, and furious romp that cuts through B-movie cliches as readily as it does the warm flesh of its hip young cast. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox Arquette), and Dwight “Dewey” Riley (David Arquette) once again find themselves face to face with a masked psychopath who’s making deadly edits to the cast of STAB 3, the schlocky slasher film based upon Sidney’s own “real-life” horrors. Fueled by a snappy script, the third chapter packs a punch with a plenty of turn-on-a-dime plot twists and a high laugh-to-shriek ratio.
